Since it was established in 1992,CWICE earned foreign exchange up to USD156,180,000.00. From 1997, by reform the work procedure, conformity the resource and reconstruction the pattern of management, we signed a contract for 16 vessels, which amounts USD241,110,000.00, WITH THE OWNER FROM Sweden and German. By our 4-years effort, we successfully delivered 4 Ro-Ro ships, respectively in July of 2000, September of 2000, August of 2001 and April of 2002, to Sweden Nordic Company on schedule. The volume of export amounts to USD90,150,000.00 and which of import amounts to USD37,680,000.00, totally amounts to USD127,830,000.00 and return the loan, which amounts RMB439,800,000.00, to China Export-Import Bank in time. We are not only honored by European ship-owner, but also get the support from China Export-Import Bank. Now the contracts at hand, which are about 12 vessels, amount up to USD150,960,000.00. The contracts for 10 vessels among those contracts now negotiated for the technical details. We have been titled as Advanced Mechanical and Electrical Export Enterprise of Hubei Province and one of Top 50 Export Enterprise of Hubei Province for 3 years in succession. And we also have been appraised as “A-Export Enterprise” by Wuhan Custom.
In summary, the new WOETC will stick on the principles of abiding by agreement, ensuring high quality, earning reasonable profit and laying stress on loyalty. We will be meticulous in preparing, organizing and executing modern enterprise management to make a great progress on vessel exporting with the help of leaders and China Export-Import Bank.
